Arch beams
The Crystal Canopy is a registered design incorporating our arch design. This not only gives added strength but also eliminates the 'stuck on' appearance of other canopies. In order to provide equivalent support, other manufacturers require to add additional unsightly metal brackets to support their beams and these supports are not as strong and can discolour and rust over time.
Infill panels
The Crystal Canopy and Carport is the only canopy available with optional infill panels. These panels ensure that the canopy has a smart, attractive facia, with no bolts or fixings showing. Other manufacturers canopies do not supply infill panels and their unsightly bolts and fixings are left in view. Fitting infills also means that electrical wiring for your Crystal Canopy lighting can be concealed, all part of the elegant design offered by Crystal Canopy.
End trims
All Crystal Canopies are fitted with end trim gutters as standard. This is possible as Crystal Canopies do not use the old fashioned type of stepped beam but have designed their own modern 'straight top' beam. The end trim gutters ensure that unlike old fashioned stepped beam, water will not run off the end and discolour the canopy's facia.
Facia
Crystal Canopies are manufactured in aluminium and can be colour matched to your canopy. Using aluminium provides additional strength and a professional finish for every canopy. All Crystal Canopies can be fitted with guttering, if required.
Ultra translucent roofing
The Crystal Canopy uses a specially manufactured roofing sheet. This ultra translucent roof sheeting lets through 87% of the light and so does not dull windows or patios covered by the canopy, but does filter out the harmful burning effects of the suns rays. Our GRP roof sheeting has exceptional strength to withstand wind and snow loadings and has a twenty year manufacturers guarantee not to dull or become brittle and break, as well as being fully protected to inhibit the growth of moss.
No additional supports Crystal Carports need no additional supports or pillars so won't restrict your car door opening and can be easily installed in a morning. A Crystal Canopy Carport will protect your car for a lifetime, while providing shelter from whatever the weather.
No foundations required.
No foundations whatsoever are required for Crystal’s range of quality Garden Rooms. Should a competitor company make the same claim, test that claim by simply asking: “What’s going to hold my Garden Room up?” You’ll then find that there will be requirements for foundations in some guise or other or your Garden Room will not stand up!
