Arch beams

The Crystal Canopy is a registered design incorporating our arch design. This not only gives added strength but also eliminates the ‘stuck on’ appearance of other canopies. In order to provide equivalent support, other manufacturers require to add additional unsightly metal brackets to support their beams and these supports are not as strong and can discolour and rust over time.

Infill panels

The Crystal Patio Canopy and Carport is the only canopy available with optional infill panels. These panels ensure that the canopy has a smart, attractive facia when viewed from either side, with no bolts or fixings showing. Other manufacturers canopies do not supply infill panels and their unsightly bolts and fixings are left in view. Fitting infill panels also means that electrical wiring for your Crystal Canopy lighting can be concealed, all part of the elegant design offered by a Crystal Canopy.

End trims

All Crystal Canopies are fitted with end trim gutters as standard. This is possible as Crystal Canopies do not use the old fashioned type of stepped beam but have designed their own modern ‘straight top’ beam. The end trim gutters ensure that unlike old fashioned stepped beams, water will not run off the end and make unslightly streak marks on the canopy’s facia.

Facia

Crystal Canopy edge facia are manufactured in aluminium and can be colour matched to your canopy. Using aluminium provides additional strength and a professional finish for every canopy. All Crystal Canopies can be fitted with guttering, if required.

Ultra translucent roofing

The Crystal Canopy uses a specially manufactured roofing sheet. This ultra translucent roof sheeting lets through 87% of  sunlight and so does not dull windows or patios covered by the canopy, but it does act as a UV filter stopping the harmful burning effects of the suns rays. Our GRP roof sheeting has exceptional strength to withstand wind and snow loadings and has a twenty year manufacturers warranty not to dull or become brittle and break, as well as being fully protected to inhibit the growth of moss.

The Crystal Carport needs no additional supports or pillars so won’t restrict your car door opening and can be easily installed in a morning. A Crystal Canopy Carport will protect your car for a lifetime, while providing your family with shelter from whatever the weather.

Our Classic canopies are supplied with our elegant arch beams which have a high gloss gelcoat finish on both sides and so require no infill panels.

The Classic canopy also comes with slate grey end trims and a strong aluminium fascia. The range is available in white or brown at no extra cost and uses the same unique ultra translucent roof sheeting.
